Bestselling author and leadership expert, Warren Bennis, once said, “Good leaders make people feel that they’re at the very heart of things, not at the periphery. Everyone feels that he or she makes a difference to the success of the organization. When that happens people feel centered and that gives their work meaning.”
If you read the previous quote carefully, perhaps you noticed that Bennis used the word “feel” three times. Do you know why? Because, as the bestselling author, Jim Kouzes, says, “Leadership is a relationship.” This, my friends, is Relationship Intelligence.
