3 Kinds of Safety We Want to Foster

From the Prevention Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP) and Workshop: Playing Nice in the Sandbox

There are three kinds of safety that we want to foster in our relationships whether in the workplace, the home, or the community. They are:

Phyical Safety: freedom from fear of physical or emotional and intimidation

Emotional Safety: being able to talk openly and to support one another

Commitment Safety: security of support and a clear future

Which need is the most important to you at this time in your life? I'd love to have your feedback. Shoot me an email or comment at

  1. Emotional Safety is at the top of the list in this season of my life. Communication is so important and the confirmation that you have someone there to support you and allow you to talk openly is .... priceless!!

  2. Well said. Thank you for sharing.
