One Thing Middle Management Wants
Middle managers want leadership from their top management. This is something that I have noticed over the years while conducting workshops and getting the chance to talk to middle managers about their top management. Middle managers want them top to talk to talk and to walk the walk. They become frustrated when top management says one thing but does another. For the most part, many of the middle managers that I have talked to feel called or led to do what they do for a living and feel heartbroken when their top management goes astray. Ironically, many of the middle managers that I have spoken with are content with their role and are not upwardly mobile. They simply want to be respected for the work that they do. What about you? How do you feel about your top management? I would like to know.
