I Coach Myself

I have learned how to coach myself. I do this by asking powerful questions. I was taught the technique of asking questions in a coaching series class we offer quarterly here at the Pastoral Institute. However, instead of asking a client a question, I ask myself. It really helps when I hit the proverbial wall or the doldrums.

For instance, when working on a particular project, I ask:

* What must I do to improve this project?
* Who can I ask to assist me?

When you ask yourself a question, your brain will search and search until it finds an answer. Isn’t that amazing?

Well, that is about all for this week. I will see you on Monday. Oh, and don’t forget about my surprise for next week.

Have a great weekend!
