A Rewarding Week

This has been a rewarding week. It began on Monday with a servant leadership workshop for employees at Enrichment Services, Inc. in Columbus, Georgia. It was the first time I had worked with this group in quite a while, and I realize how much I missed them.

On Tuesday, I had the privilege of presenting an Emergenetics 2 workshop for some extremely energetic leadership team members at Schuster Enterprises. Since we redesigned the Emergenetics 2 workshop, I cannot tell you how much fun I've had presenting this particular class. As the young people would say, it was “off-the-chain!”

Finally, yesterday culminated in a three-year long project by the Columbus State University servant leadership students with the dedication of a new community playground “that’s uniquely designed to serve children with disabilities. The playground, designed to engage children of all ages and abilities, has been built behind the Columbus Public Library off Boxwood Road. The senior classes of 2010, 2011 and 2013 in CSU’s Servant Leadership Program have been working toward this dedication for years. Their plan was to raise money for a playground specifically designed to offer elements of play for children with disabilities.”

As Mr. Bill Turner likes to say, “What’s are we going to do next?”

Stay tuned...
