Servant Leadership Conference Is Just a Little over Two Months Away

I am really looking forward to our Servant Leadership Conference on October 20. If you are going to be in the Columbus, Georgia area on that day, I recommend you make plans to attend this very special event.

As I stated last week, our guest speaker at the luncheon is Ms. Vikki Pryor. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this year's conference.

We are doing something new this year as we are going to provide workshops during the morning. Participants will have an opportunity to attend two of the five workshops in the morning. We have a Business/Healthcare panel discussion on servant leadership in those two industries. Kent Keith, CEO of the Greenleaf Center, and a best-selling author in his own right will be in town to talk about servant leadership, too. We will also have a Personal Development/Self Awareness workshop. An education panel will be present to talk about servant leadership and what we've been able to accomplish at Columbus State University and a couple of our local high schools in the area. And there is one more workshop that I will tell you about next week. It is a surprise.

The cost of this year's conference is very reasonable. The luncheon fee is $50. However, you can attend the whole conference for just $75 and that includes the morning workshops and a great meal and captivating speaker at high noon. You cannot beat that anywhere.

To register please call Ms. Wendy Boyd at the pastoral Institute at 706-649-6362 extension 1247.
