“Adaptability or flexibility means being able to change as circumstances require it. It recognizes that life will bring us unforeseen challenges and if we are to honor our values and goals, we must adjust and learn as we go.” -
Having the ability to adapt at a moment’s notice is an important trait for all leaders to develop. I am sure that there have been times when you have spent a full evening planning for the next day only to arrive at the office and find total chaos. The system may be down, the air-conditioning units may not be working, an unexpected guest arrives and you have to spend the whole day with him; the budget meeting that was on your calendar for next week has been unexpectedly rescheduled for within the hour.

Leaders must be open to change even if it is not their personality trait. We've all heard that change is inevitable and sometimes it is unexpected.
