"If we will be quiet and ready enough, we shall find compensation in every disappointment." – Henry David Thoreau
Let's face it. Disappointment is a part of life. Personally, I have had many disappointments in my life. However, it is not until I am consciously aware that I realize after each disappointment something better came along. For instance, I failed as an underwriter during my career as a banker. However, if I had succeeded in banking, I would not be living my dream right now as the Director of the Center for Servant Leadership.
When you face a disappointment, have faith that it is a blessing in disguise.
