I haven't been writing a lot lately. In all honesty, I'm not sure I quite know how to use this blog. Is it supposed to be somewhat of a diary of my daily or weekly events? Is it supposed to espouse lessons on servant Leadership? Or perhaps both? Nevertheless, from now on (I hope), I am going to write about whatever is on my mind.
With that being said, today I had a wonderful lunch with Dr. Olu Menjay, Principal and CEO, of the Ricks Institute in Liberia. He will be in town for another week before heading home. We ate a nice lunch over in Phenix City at Ed's BBQ and Country Kitchen. I wanted Olu to get a taste of some downhome soul food. Thankfully, he enjoyed it and so did I.
It looks like I'll be headed over to Liberia sometime in 2011. Dr. Menjay told me beginning next month Delta Airlines will have a non-stop flight to Liberia. It should be fun.
