A Relaxing Birthday

It's been a while since my last post. I'm sure some of you have been wondering where I been.

My most important job responsibility is our annual servant leadership conference. As you know, this year's conference was held on October 29. Usually, and this year was no different, it takes up a lot of my time and energy. Thus, after the event was over, I was so tired that I needed to take a break (I'm not done yet).

Nevertheless, today I turned 43. My day started with me running a few errands around town. When I arrived home, I walked our dog, Sophie, through the neighborhood. It was such a beautiful morning.

Most of the afternoon was spent watching college football on television. My family took me out to dinner this evening, and as I write this post, I'm watching my Auburn Tigers play the Georgia Bulldogs. If we win tonight, what more could a guy ask for on his birthday.
