Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

It’s no secret that we are experiencing some very tough economic times in our country right now and for that matter, around the world.

Maybe you’ve been wishing, and wanting, and working for something really big, but lately you’ve felt discouraged. Perhaps you’ve lost your job or you still have your job but you’re having a difficult time with the boss or a co-worker.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, but you must do your part to reach that light. The best thing for you to do is to keep your eyes on the prize.

I realize the importance of details, even more important is for you to hold your vision. In short, see the big picture—that includes your dreams.

It’s so easy to get sidetracked onto the little things in life—the things that have no bearing on your dreams. Matters are often made worse when you are surrounded with people who are mired in mediocrity.

So, do as Richard Carlson says, “Don’t sweat the small stuff!”
